| Welcome to HR in the Spotlight….2004 and Beyond. Although we did not have a conference last year, our first annual conference in 2002 was a great success and we are back this year with an even more exhilarating event! We are very excited to have Cable & Wireless as our exclusive sponsor and also to introduce the new HR Marketplace for the first time. In any organization, HR is a beacon! Not only a warning signal of pending danger, but also a guiding light to safe harbor. Behavioral science has proven that most successful people are those who know themselves both strengths and weaknesses. Likewise, the most successful HR professionals do not wait for an opportunity, they proactively seek it out, which will explain why you are here today!
